Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Vichar Vistar, we strive to ensure that our users have a satisfactory experience with our services, whether educational content, subscriptions, or events. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which a user may cancel a service or request a refund.

By using our Platform, you agree to be bound by this policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.


2. Cancellation Policy

a. User-Initiated Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription, registration, or order for services within the applicable cancellation window, as specified below:

  • Digital Subscriptions / Courses: Cancellable within 48 hours of purchase if no content has been accessed.
  • Event Registrations (Webinars/Workshops): Cancellable up to 72 hours before the event.
  • Physical Products (if applicable): Cancellation accepted only before dispatch.

To cancel, send a written request to contact@vicharvistar.com with your full name, registered email, transaction ID, and reason for cancellation.


b. Cancellation by Vichar Vistar

We reserve the right to cancel your subscription or registration due to:

  • Non-payment or chargeback issues
  • Misuse of platform or breach of Terms
  • Unforeseen technical or logistical issues

In such cases, a full or partial refund may be provided, subject to the situation.


3. Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed as per the following conditions:

a. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are only considered if:

  • A user submits a valid cancellation request within the allowable window
  • Services paid for were not delivered or accessed
  • There was an error in billing (e.g., double payment)

b. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Partially used subscriptions
  • Accessed digital content (e.g., lessons watched, quizzes attempted)
  • Downloadable materials (e.g., PDFs, eBooks)
  • Event no-shows without prior cancellation

c. Refund Timeline

Once approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds will be credited via the original mode of payment
  • Transaction or processing fees (if any) are non-refundable

4. Exceptions and Discretion

We may, at our sole discretion, make exceptions to this policy in cases of:

  • Documented technical failure
  • Emergency situations (e.g., medical emergencies)
  • Duplicate transactions

All such cases will require supporting documentation and may still be subject to platform review.


5. How to Request a Refund

  • Registered email address
  • Phone number
  • Transaction ID / Order number
  • Reason for refund request
  • Supporting documents (if applicable)

Our support team will acknowledge the request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within the stated timeline.


6. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.


7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or on our Platform. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
